Keep campers safe and help create unforgettable waterfront experiences! As a waterfront Lifeguard, you’ll assist in running lake activities while maintaining a fun, Christ-centered environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as an alert and active lifeguard during scheduled activities
• Help maintain clean, safe, and well-organized waterfront areas
• Participate in lifeguard training and skill refreshers
• Welcome and assist campers, staff, and guests
• Support the Aquatics Lead with daily operations and special events
• Reflect Christ’s love through your actions and attitude
• Assist with camper arrival/departure on weekends
• Participate in other camp activities as planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, as the schedule allows, mainly after dinner hours.
• Flex into other roles and temporary assignments to other duties (including Cabin Leader) if needed

Positional

• Has, or is able to obtain or participate in Timber-lee training to obtain, current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.
• Must be able to handle working in hot, humid conditions.
• Is able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Performs assigned tasks in a timely and effective way.
• Is able to physically traverse the multi-terrain campground in all seasons of the year; able to be on one’s feet for long periods of time.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at time of hire to be considered for this position.
