We are partnering with our client Home Path Financial on their Director of Finance opportunity.

  

Job Summary:

Home Path Financial is seeking an experienced Head of Finance (Director) who has a highly developed skillset and passion for efficient systems and robust processes. The ideal candidate is down-to-earth, detail-oriented, and brings a disciplined approach to financial management and operational structure. This role requires someone who can maintain precise , on time workflows while overseeing an HR Generalist, Controller, and vendor relations with companies who provide HR and Accounting support. We need a methodical professional who finds satisfaction in creating order, maintaining efficiencies, and establishing clear protocols that drive organizational success. Someone who enjoys keeping the trains running on time.

Core Accountabilities/Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

· Direct all financial operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting

· Design and implement EOS-aligned financial systems that support the company's V/TO

· Create Core Processes for finance and HR functions with clear documentation

· Establish and maintain Financial Scorecards with measurable metrics

· Audit external division scorecards

· Supervise the HR Generalist, Controller, and accounting functions.

· Oversee relationship with HR, Accounting, and technology contractors

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and HR requirements

· Lead budget development, forecasting, and strategic financial planning

· Identify and resolve Issues using the IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) method

 
Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

· 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles

· Experience managing both accounting operations and HR functions

· Proven track record implementing and optimizing financial systems

· Strong analytical skills with experience in financial forecasting

· Exceptional organizational skills with a process-oriented mindset

· Corporate / large company finance experience required

· Experience with EOS methodology preferred

· Experience with construction financials helpful


Work Environment:

· Business casual, fun and positive, dynamic and fast paced

· Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm. Remote position managing remote teams.
