The Project Manager position will be knowledgeable of all contract requirements and successfully complete tasks in support of federal contracts and will serve as the primary point of contact for the federal client on assigned contracts. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. In addition, the hired candidate will be able to develop efficient strategies to ensure that all programs deliver desirable outcomes to the organization. The Project Manager works under the supervision of the Project Director.


Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Manage the end-to-end logistical requirements related to assigned federal grant application review programs.

• Ensure compliance with contract deliverable requirements.

• Primary point of contact for federal program staff and secondary point of contact for grants management staff.

• Develop project plans and timelines to ensure accurate and timely execution of all tasks.

• Manage Stakeholder Communications (Internal, Client and Participant).

• Develop/Manage/Deliver Grant Application Review Participant Training and Support using Web-Based Platforms.

• Conduct effective outreach activities and manage reviewer recruitment processes.

• Monitor and provide oversight to the Grant Application Review process, utilizing federal systems and internal procedures.

• Execute Quality Assurance and Control protocol and ensure the security of federal data and Personal Identifying Information.

• Ensure internal systems and protocols are followed in the execution of assigned tasks.

• Consult regularly with clients to ensure project activities align with stated requirements and scope.

• Support the analysis, design and development of infrastructure and client-facing systems.

• Collaborate with other departments, contractors and support teams as needed.

• Manage Grant Application Review close-out activities, including but not limited to participant honoraria and surveys.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote).

• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent Customer Service skills.

• Ability to draft senior level communications for mass distribution.

• Ability to use independent initiative, good judgment, and decision-making skills when setting priorities.

• Ability to transfer knowledge of federal laws, regulations, and policy to the administration of grants and cooperative agreements.

• Experience using web-based conferencing and webinar platforms for meetings and facilitating training.

• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and perform them quickly and efficiently.

• Ability to influence decisions through the presentation of information gathered through research or data analysis.

• Experience working in a high paced, rapidly changing environment.

• Ability to analyze and conduct research independently.



Requirements

 • This position requires one of the three:

        - Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study with 5-7 years relevant work experience, OR

         - Master’s degree in a related field of study with 4-5 years relevant work experience.

         - 7-10 years relevant work experience without a degree.

• 3+ years project management experience (not IT project implementation related)

• 4+ years of experience assisting and/or managing discretionary grant reviews, preferably for the Federal government.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs – with emphasis on Excel and Word.

• Special consideration given to candidates with experience and/or certifications:

             o Grant Application Review and/ Or Grant Program Management Experience with the Health Resources and services    Administration (HRSA) or Administration for Children and Families (ACF)

             o Knowledge and/or Experience with the Following Federal Government Platforms:

                            - GrantSolutions

                            - Application Review Module (ARM) System

              o Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
