Description

Are you a skilled mechanic who knows how a car should drive? We’re looking for a Mechanic – Diagnostic Driver to join our PSI/Arbitration team.


Your main responsibility is simple but critical: drive vehicles to identify and diagnose any potential issues before they move through the process. No major repairs—just your expertise behind the wheel and attention to detail.


What You’ll Do:


  • Drive vehicles to detect mechanical or performance problems
  • Report any findings accurately and promptly to the PSI/Arbitration team 
  • Help ensure vehicle quality and consistency standards are met
  • Work on a team and independently
  • Keep safety as a top priority

Other duties as assigned



Requirements


What We’re Looking For:


  • Strong mechanical knowledge and keen diagnostic ability
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Dependable, observant, and safety-focused
  • High  School Diploma
  • Mechanical coursework completion, highly preferred
  • Should be highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined. 
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. 
  • Ability to operate all types of vehicles. Must have own tools.


Environment:      The environment of the Mechanic involves working at the Auction and on the road representing the company upholding the highest standards of customer service. Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times.
