The Role

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated West Coast Sales Representative to expand Biolog Lab Services’ (BLS) visibility and revenue across the western U.S. You will identify new opportunities in food, biotech, pharma, and life sciences, and help grow our Foodborne Pathogen Detection and Microbial Identification services.

Reporting to the VP of Lab Services Commercial and Site Leader, you will help shape regional strategy, build strong customer relationships, and drive new business growth.

Requirements

   Where You Make a Difference

  • Grow revenue for BLS across the West Coast
  • Engage prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn; qualify and nurture leads
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and collaborate to close deals
  • Represent Biolog at regional events and industry conferences
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns and service launches
  • Maintain CRM accuracy (Salesforce) and report on activity
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and project teams to ensure flawless customer onboarding and satisfaction

  

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in life science or related field
  • 2–5 years of sales or business development experience (lab services or life sciences preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Willing to travel up to 20% to engage customers and support regional growth
