Job Summary
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.
Job Responsibilities
· Manages the daily workflows, sets priorities, communicates expectations/goals with each employee
· Participates in training new employees, promoting company policies and philosophies.
· Assists in troubleshooting issues related to shop drawings, or machine and material problems.
· Evaluate current systems and procedures to continuously improve, i.e. work simplification.
· Evaluate merit reviews for department employees.
· Conduct meetings to give direction and resolve problems.
· Collaborates with other supervisors, managers, and engineering staff to improve processes, flow, productivity…
· Assure conformance with company quality and safety policies and procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in operations management or other relevant program preferred.
· 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
