As a Fabrication Technician, you’ll join a highly skilled crew that creates the precision sheet metal components powering our industry-leading indoor air quality systems. Your work directly supports healthier buildings, healthier people, and a healthier planet.


What You’ll Do

You’ll operate advanced fabrication equipment—including lasers, punches, panel benders, press brakes, and robotic systems—to create high-quality metal parts with accuracy and consistency. You’ll contribute to production excellence, ongoing innovation, and process improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Operate and troubleshoot CNC-driven fabrication machinery with accuracy and care
     
  • Minimize waste and optimize throughput while maintaining top-tier quality
     
  • Read and interpret blueprints to bring detailed designs into production
     
  • Set up tooling, adjust programs, and perform preventive maintenance
     
  • Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure all QA standards are met
     
  • Partner with engineers and programmers to enhance workflows and reduce cycle time
     
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
     
  • Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and support a collaborative environment
     
  • Take ownership—meeting deadlines, solving problems, and seeking better ways to work

Schedule

2nd Shift – Four 10-Hour Days
Hours: 3:00 PM – 1:15 AM
Enjoy consistent schedules and three-day weekends every week.

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; metal fabrication courses a plus. 

· Minimum of 1 year experience operating sheet metal equipment (laser, punch, panel bender, press brake preferred). 

· 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required. 

· Basic computer and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read measurements in inches and feet). 

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing instructions. 

· Strong oral and written communication skills for effective team interaction. 

· Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems with a few variables in standard situations.

· Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

· Reliable transportation to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality


Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Fine motor skills are required for a variety of functions, especially for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. For items over 50 lbs., an assisted device or help from a coworker is used. A variety of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the role and specific tasks, and is subject to change based on safety needs. Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving subassembly parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. Work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment designed for employee comfort and safety. The facility is equipped with noise control measures, resulting in minimal distractions and a steady work atmosphere.
