 Summary

• Creation reference architecture / leading network design.
• Analyzing the existing network landscape and making recommendations based on capacity, hardware lifecycle, and new technologies.
• Responding to Network related escalations
• Meeting with both new and existing customers on existing issues, improvements, network design, etc.
• Documenting and reporting on high level project plans
• Mentoring the Network Engineering Operations Team
• Work closely with Security Operations on detection and containment of threats.
• Lead and Delegate tasks for Network related projects
• Reports to the VP of Data Center Operations

• Expert in Palo Alto firewalls
• Expert in Juniper Routing
• Expert in Juniper Switching
• Intermediate in F5 Local Traffic Management
• Intermediate in “Cloud” networking (OCI is preferred but AWS will suffice).
• Intermediate in Cisco switching
• Intermediate in VMware
• PRTG Network Monitoring

• Spanning Tree Technologies (RSTP/VSTP/MSTP)

The estimated base rate range for this position: $124,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year. The actual hourly range is based on fair market value based on your geographical location, skills, role requirements, and responsibilities.  This posted compensation is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Denovo reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
