JOB TITLE: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time (40 hours a week) Monday – Friday 7:30-4:00

WORK LOCATION: Paducah, KY

POSITION SUMMARY

Easterseals West Kentucky, Inc. is searching for a full-time CNA for our Adult Day Health Care program. The CNA will be responsible for working with adults with complex medical needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CNA will perform all or some of the following:

Providing support for clients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including, but not limited to bathing, dressing, using the toilet, walking, standing and exercising.

Ensuring clients receive appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences.

Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration rate as requested by staff.

Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

Participating and scheduling client outings and activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND KEY COMPETENICES:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

CNA license required

Previous experience required

Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects and goals

Highly organized and detail oriented

Must be a citizen of the United States and possess a valid driver’s license

Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
