  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Safely transport goods and passengers to designated locations in a timely manner. 
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage. 
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. 
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record. 
• Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules. 
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement. 
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. 
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. 
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions. 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

• Valid driver's license applicable to the vehicle type. 
• Clean driving record with no major violations. 
• Minimum of two years of professional driving experience. 
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.   

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:   

• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations. 
• Strong time management and organizational skills. 
• Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools. 
• Good physical condition and stamina. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. 
• Capability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and inspections. 
• Reliable smartphone with a data plan for communication and navigation apps. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderate. Generally, well ventilated, and well lit. Warehouse team members may be required to wear protective clothing. Additionally, may operate heavy equipment and strict safety regulations may be required. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work is physically strenuous and team members are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Work may require excessive bending or stooping. Team members may be required to climb ladders, use hand tools, and/or use heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.). The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Light duty options may be available.
