Position Summary:

At Village Farm in Austin, TX, we’re not just building homes—we’re cultivating a lifestyle centered around sustainability, connection, and a modern return to nature. As a Tiny Home Consultant, you’ll introduce prospective residents to a one-of-a-kind tiny-home community woven around a working 4-acre organic farm, walkable streets, and vibrant social programming.

With potential earnings of over $150,000 in your first year, this is the perfect role for someone driven by sales excellence, passionate about intentional living, and energized by being part of something bigger.


You won’t just sell homes—you’ll play a central role in transforming people’s lives by helping them transition to a simpler, more meaningful way of living in one of the nation’s most exciting residential concepts.


Performance Objectives:

  • Deliver an unforgettable, values-based sales experience—from first tour to move-in.
  • Showcase Village Farm as the gold standard of tiny home and land-lease communities nationwide.
  • Serve as a creative brand voice for Village Farm—crafting trend-savvy content, leading community-driven campaigns, and influencing audience perception to grow our presence and drive pipeline. 
  • Conduct engaging sales tours that spotlight the urban farm, walkable master plan, event calendar, and lifestyle benefits.
  • Guide prospects through financing, applications, credit checks, and seamless home selection.
  • Own and operate lead conversion through expert CRM usage, community networking, and social media presence.
  • Represent Village Farm at events, workshops, and open houses focused on farm-to-table living, sustainability, and tiny-home living.
  • Champion sales excellence by coordinating contracts, deposits, underwriting, and home preparation with precision.
  • Foster resident loyalty and referrals by building long-term relationships within the community.
  • Partner with the Home Center Manager to exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Embody Roberts Resorts’ mission and values in every interaction.
Requirements

Key Competencies:

  1. Sales & Community Leadership: Proven performance in consultative or lifestyle sales (homes, RVs, etc.)
  2. Emotional Intelligence & Connection: Naturally builds rapport with diverse customer types.
  3. Community-First Mindset: Passion for small-space living, sustainability, and urban agriculture.
  4. Goal-Driven & Competitive: A hunter mindset—excited to achieve and exceed top-tier income.
  5. Digital Confidence: CRM expert and avid user of social media to cultivate brand and leads.

Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years in sales—preferably in real estate, hospitality, or high-touch residential industries
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
  • Experience in manufactured, modular, or tiny home sales highly preferred
  • Clean driving record and current driver’s license required

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly sit, talk, or hear; Frequently use hands. 
  • Manual dexterity for handling paperwork and using office equipment. 
  • Clear vision and hearing for reviewing documents and communicating effectively. 
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to walk tours, stand for extended periods, and engage in community events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
