Description

Our EGT Sales Development Representatives (SDR) is an entry-level sales and marketing position with an industry-leading provider of local government ERP software solutions.  Our EGT SDRs create and nurture prospective client relationships and assist with the qualification process for the Regional Sales Directors (RSD).  SDR’s will be required to assist with marketing campaign outreach and follow-up, including the potential to travel to tradeshow conferences.  The SDR must express a working knowledge of EGT products,  sales qualification, and relationship building. The SDR role reports to the Marketing Director.

  • Prospect: call potential clients to gauge interest in software based on daily call volume KPIs
  • Direct sales and telemarketing
  • Qualifying leads for Regional Sales Directors (RSD)
  • Schedule and attend discovery calls after qualification of prospects
  • Deliver expected KPI for both sales call volume and demo scheduling
  • Updating data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software, Salesforce
  • Competitive research and industry knowledge sharing
  • Potential to attend virtual prospect demonstrations and industry trade shows
  • Activity planning and tracking via Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Complete and submit weekly activity reports outlining activities to Regional Sales Director (RSD).
  • Assist with tasks assigned by Marketing Director or VP of Marketing with input from Regional Sales Directors (RSD) and VP of Sales.



Requirements
  • A self-starter with an outgoing and pleasant personality.
  • Comfort level on the phone for prospect cold calls.
  • Desire to learn in fast-paced environment.
  • Organized approach to follow-up and nurture marketing activities.
  • Tech savvy, ability to learn Salesforce and Salesloft platform.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Able to commute daily to the Northfield, NJ headquarters
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Direct sales experience a plus.
  • Salesforce and Salesloft experience a plus.
  • Government or other technical/software marketing, sales, support, implementation experience preferred.



Salary Description
$53,000 plus commissions
