The Production Control Admin is responsible for supporting all aspects of Production control with a strong focus on inventory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory and cycle count adjustments, ensuring accuracy.
- Support Organization of Stock Room
- Close out work tickets.
- Reconcile recorded labor hours to allocated Work Ticket Hours.
- Interface with manufacturing personnel and/or Planners to collect the necessary data for Work Ticket reconciliation.
- Provide copies of Red-lined Drawings and Work tickets to engineering for review.
- Scan work tickets into Production folder of the appropriate Sales order folder.
- Assist with purchasing as needed.
- Issue parts to Work Tickets in SAGE ERP System as needed
- After direction from the planner, generate Picking Sheets/Packing Lists for stock items to go directly from stock to shipping.
- Support Receiving as needed, ensuring accurate reconciliation of purchasing/receiving documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience in production control and inventory preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand, kneel and sit for long periods of time.
- Regularly sits and operates a computer, calculator, and telephone requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
- Performs activities requiring sustained concentration, and visual acuity.
- Routinely communicates face-to-face and in writing, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills with others.
- Physical surroundings require exposure to elements such as noise, heat, cold, dust and hazards.
- Ability to walk within a campus environment.
