Colossal Contracting, LLC is looking for a remote Collaboration Delivery Engineer that will support our government and commercial customers and is comfortable with travel when required. The Collab Delivery Engineer will provide planning, design, configuration, deployment, and tier III troubleshooting support to our government customers. In this role, the Engineer will ensure mission success by leveraging new and existing unified communications designs. They must be hands-on and will partake in aspects of planning, design, implementation, and deployment. They serve as a collaboration SME and provide technical guidance to ensure the current and future success of our customer’s mission. An ideal candidate will have a CCNP – Collaboration or higher, or a similar OEM level of certification.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop collaboration architecture designs, studies, and plans.
• Provide superior customer service by being courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.
• Provide senior program managers with recommendations on voice and video collaboration approaches and strategies for new and continued business.
• Develop, implement, and manage voice and video collaboration processes including design standards to ensure compliance, relevancy, and sustainability.
• Perform capacity planning of the collaboration services by auditing and analyzing performance and availability of voice and video services.
• Proactively research and evaluate tools and technologies, as appropriate, to the collaboration environment, while developing solutions to increase performance and lower the total cost of ownership.
• Provides tier III support for trouble resolution of the voice and video infrastructure to supplement operations team.
• Have a high level of understanding of VOIP, UC and Collaboration technologies.
• Communicate with customers and internal staff at regular intervals to ensure expectations are set and that appropriate attention is being paid to customer requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 5-10 years related UC and collaboration support experience (or similar IT experience).
• 5-10 years troubleshooting Cisco unified communications and VOIP connectivity.
• Experience engineering, deploying, and troubleshooting voice and video collaboration systems such as the CUCM, UCS platform, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Telepresence Management System (TMS), legacy video conferencing hardware, Multi-controller Units, and Voice Gateways.
• CCNP Collaboration Certification, and/or the desire and ability to work towards the CCNP preferred.
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer preferred.
• Experience with voice and video performance management tools, security tools and appliances, layer two technologies, wireless communications, and firewall/gateway traversals is preferred
• Self-driven and resourceful in achieving goals independently as well as in cooperation with others
• Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities
• Available to travel throughout the US if required.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Travel
Travel may be required for this role. Generally, travel may occur once or twice a month and may last between 2 to 3 days. Frequency and length may fluctuate depending on project scope.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried position that will work during core business hours with flexibility to work nights and weekends when required.
