About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who’s excited to create digital experiences that connect and inspire. As our Specialist, Digital Events, you’ll play a key role in producing live webinars and supporting sponsor activations that reach thousands of HR and Total Rewards leaders around the world.
You’ll learn the ins and outs of event technology, sponsorship fulfillment, and audience engagement. You’ll also gain hands-on experience managing our mobile event app (SpotMe) and have the opportunity to travel onsite to support our in-person conferences—learning every side of event production from digital to live.
This is an ideal position for someone looking to break into event management and grow their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce and coordinate live webinars—from scheduling and setup to day-of moderation and post-event reporting.
- Serve as the go-to contact for sponsor logistics and fulfillment, ensuring all deliverables (ads, content, placements) are accurate and on schedule.
- Learn to manage and update our mobile event app, including content setup, sponsor placements, and attendee engagement tools.
- Support the onsite execution of conferences—helping with exhibits, signage, and sponsor activations.
- Track timelines, assets, and performance metrics to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly.
- Partner with internal teams to enhance the attendee and sponsor experience.
- Assist with CRM and LMS updates, data entry, and performance reporting.
- Jump in wherever needed to make our digital and live events unforgettable—with opportunities to learn every aspect of event planning, from programming and sponsorships to food & beverage and onsite logistics.
- Travel: Up to 10% (for onsite event support)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, or digital production (internships and project work welcome!).
- Excellent organizational skills—you thrive on keeping projects, timelines, and details in perfect order.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you’re clear, professional, and confident working with sponsors, speakers, and colleagues.
- Polished presentation skills and a calm, engaging presence when hosting webinars or supporting live events.
- Comfort with technology and curiosity to learn new platforms (Salesforce, webinar tools, or SpotMe experience a plus).
- A proactive, flexible mindset and a passion for learning the events industry.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% to support live events.
What We Offer:
You’ll join a passionate, supportive team that loves bringing people together and celebrating great ideas. In this role, you’ll:
- Learn digital and live event production from the ground up.
- Work directly with sponsors, speakers, and event technology.
- Gain hands-on onsite experience at major conferences.
