Noble House Hotels and Resorts owns, manages, or operates a portfolio of 20+ luxury, independent hotels and resorts around the country, Canada and Mexico. We are seeking a Development Design Coordinator with 3–5 years of interior design experience to join our dynamic development team. This position plays a key role in supporting the design, documentation, and execution of FF&E packages for hospitality projects across our national portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in interior design, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of development.
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Experience in hospitality design (hotel projects) preferred but not required
Core Responsibilities
- Support all phases of design — with emphasis on Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases
- Translate design concepts into detailed FF&E specification packages suitable for bidding and production
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of FFE schedules, budgets, and procurement tracking using Excel-based tools like Smartsheet
- Collaborate with the Director of Development, Design and Purchasing Manager, and Purchasing Administrator to manage FF&E development for capital improvement projects
- Prepare design decks, specification sheets, and other presentation materials using InDesign and Photoshop
- Draft and update floor plans and FF&E drawings in SketchUp and Bluebeam
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to establish relationships, obtain quotes, and support product sourcing
- Assist in organizing, tracking, and managing multiple projects simultaneously ranging from small property refreshes to large-scale renovations
- Travel occasionally to project sites for installations and to attend trade shows as needed
