The role of Reporting Business Analyst/Solution Analyst is no different, and in fact, plays a key role in our journey to innovate solutions that solve real problems for our clients. 


On a daily basis this client-facing role will help enterprise customers turn business questions into clear requirements—and deliver them using our embedded (in-line) Reporting Analytics. You’ll lead discovery, translate needs into dashboards and data models, and enable customers to understand, trust, and adopt our reporting. This role blends Business Analysis (requirements, facilitation, documentation) with Solution Architecture (Data modeling).

Core Responsibilities

Client Discovery & Requirements

  • Lead stakeholder workshops to capture KPIs, definitions, decision flows, and success metrics.
  • Translate use cases into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized reporting backlog.
  • Own requirements traceability from discovery through UAT sign-off.

Design, Build & Deliver in Medecision Reporting (Sisense)

  • Design, prototype, and ship interactive dashboards/widgets within our product (embedded Sisense).
  • Model data, define relationships, calculated fields, and reusable metrics.
  • Manage releases/versioning for reporting assets.

Data Model Enablement & Governance

  • Map client concepts to our canonical data model; define metric logic, grain, and lineage.
  • Create clear documentation: data dictionaries, KPI definitions, quick-start guides, and runbooks.

Data Quality & Testing

  • partner with data engineering on SQL; verify joins, filters, and aggregations;
  • Define test cases; execute Customer QA and lead UAT to stakeholder approval.
  • Instrument dashboards for usage/adoption insights and iterate based on signals.

Customer Enablement & Support

  • Deliver trainings and office hours; coach analysts and business users on best practices.
  • Provide post-launch optimization, troubleshoot issues across model, widget, and data layers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success on adoption plans and measurable outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Development, and Data Engineering, to unblock delivery and inform roadmap priorities.
  • Contribute feedback on governance standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3–6+ years in Business Analysis, Solutions Analysis, or BI/Analytics roles working directly with external clients.
  • Hands-on Sisense (embedded/in-app strongly preferred): data modeling and dashboarding experience.
  • Strong GCP BQ / SQL and relational/data-modeling fundamentals; comfort with performance tuning.
  • Proven experience eliciting requirements and writing user stories/acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and documentation skills for both technical and business audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Cloud (GCP) 
  • Healthcare data familiarity (claims/eligibility/clinical) and KPI design; HIPAA-aware practices.


 Success Metrics (First 90-180 Days) 

  • > 3 priority client dashboards delivered and adopted (usage tracked)
  • KPI/metric dictionary approved by client stakeholders with clear lineage
  • RLS/SSO configurations meeting security SLO; dashboards hitting performance targets
  • Predictable backlog, on-time UAT sign-offs, and positive CSAT from key stakeholders
Salary Description
$110,000 - $130,000
