Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Owner to lead the migration of our current FIS Relius system to FIS Retirement Platform (FRP). This role will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition by aligning cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering a scalable, future-ready solution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in enterprise system migrations, product lifecycle management, and a strong understanding of payroll and retirement benefit systems. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the migration from Relius to FRP, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs. 
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product backlog, prioritizing features and tasks that support a smooth and efficient migration. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans. 
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery cycles in partnership with the Scrum Master and development teams. 
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to keep the migration on track and within scope. 
  • Define and validate acceptance criteria for migrated features and integrations, ensuring quality and compliance. 
  • Facilitate change management and training efforts to support user adoption and minimize disruption. 
  • Stay informed on best practices and emerging technologies in payroll, retirement systems, and enterprise platform migrations. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in product management, system integration, or HR/payroll technology.
  • Specific experience with FRP and/or FIS Omni. Ideally lead or participated in the implementation of one of these programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team as well as influence partners throughout the organization. 
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping.
  • Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Working familiarity with all aspects of retirement planning.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

Compensation Information

The average salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $165,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
