About PFI InStore
PFI InStore is a leading designer and fabricator of retail store displays and fixtures. We specialize in custom injection-molded single-serve coolers and a variety of specialized retail racks made of plastic, wood, metal, and wire. Our team works directly with Fortune 500 brands—including Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, and Anheuser-Busch—to create the shopping experiences seen every day in convenience and grocery stores. To remain a leader in the retail world, we foster a creative, self-motivated, and tech-forward atmosphere. We are looking for an energetic, industrious Client Relations Specialist to join our in-office team and help us build on decades of success.
The Role
The Client Relations Specialist is the primary engine behind our account success. In this in-office position, you will maintain close strategic alignment with Key Account Managers to drive account growth and operational excellence. This is a client-facing role conducted primarily through phone and virtual meetings. As a key representative of PFI InStore, you will be comfortable interacting with both external and internal stakeholders. We are seeking a well-rounded, solution-driven professional who is self-motivated to support the sales team. Additionally, be a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of challenges by investigating details and providing data-backed answers.
Key Responsibilities
- Order & Account Management: Handle full-cycle order processing, customer imports, and item code set-up.
- Client-Facing Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone and virtual meetings, ensuring a premium service experience.
- Strategic Support: Act as a proactive partner to Key Account Managers, providing the research and data needed to drive account success.
- Product Expertise: Familiarize customers with our standard product offerings via web inquiries and consultations.
- Logistics & Documentation: Manage freight quotes, claims, and approvals; oversee RGA databases, project request forms, and credit card processing.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports; perform daily reviews of production reports to ensure timelines are met.
- Continuous Growth: Embrace cross-functional training to support team-wide productivity and individual professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years in customer service or account coordination. Experience in warehouse or logistics environments is a significant plus.
- Critical Thinking: Must be solution-driven with a strong desire to research and solve problems independently rather than relying solely on instruction.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook). We value candidates who embrace technology and utilize AI to improve efficiency and save time.
- Productive Time Management: Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining impeccable follow-up and communication.
- Travel: 0% overnight travel required.
