Position Summary:
The Technical Ellucian Colleague Administrator is responsible for the backend management, maintenance, and optimization of the Ellucian Colleague ERP system. This role focuses on system performance, upgrades, customizations, integrations, and infrastructure support to ensure high availability and reliability of services across all environments.
Primary Responsibilities, Essential Functions and Requirements:
- Perform monthly database and file maintenance to enhance uptime and performance.
- Install Colleague software releases across all environments.
- Manage installations and upgrades for User Interface, Payment Gateway, Self-Service, and Colleague API.
- Configure and optimize Datatel Messaging Interface (DMI) listeners.
- Clone Colleague environments for testing and development.
- Perform Unidata and Microsoft SQL upgrades and updates.
- Tune performance for Self-Service, Web UI, and Informer reporting tools.
- Manage LDAP, server, and listener certificate updates.
- Oversee operating system upgrades and updates.
- Provide technical support for Colleague modules and integrations.
- Configure and troubleshoot Ellucian Ethos integrations.
- Create and manage Ellucian Experience tiles using React JS, CSS, and related technologies.
- Participate in weekly status meetings and prepare monthly system health reports.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Ellucian Colleague system administration.
- Proficiency in Unidata, Envision, Colleague Studio, and WebAPI.
- Experience with Red Had Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with system performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with Ethos, DMI, and infrastructure-level integrations.
- Ability to manage and maintain customizations and integrations
- Front-end development skills (React JS, CSS) are preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Education, Certifications and Licensures:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
