Regional Director of Sales - IA/WI/MN
Fully Remote Remote
Description

Territory will be Great Plains region:  IA/WI/MN

We are seeking a high-performing Director of Sales with experience selling complex, value-based solutions to executive stakeholders in healthcare — particularly within provider, pharmacy, or revenue cycle environments. This is not a transactional role. We’re looking for someone who can navigate ambiguity, build business cases with financial fluency, and win trust at the C-suite level. The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the full sales cycle across a defined geographic region, with a focus on growing our presence among Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Ryan White clinics, STI clinics, and other mission-driven providers. This role is ideal for someone who can think like a strategist, act like an operator, and sell like a trusted advisor.

In addition to driving new business, the Director of Sales will serve as a strategic partner to existing clients — identifying opportunities for optimization, expansion, and deeper engagement. This includes collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer journey, advocating for client needs, and maintaining a high level of satisfaction across the customer base.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead strategic, consultative sales processes from initial outreach to close — including discovery, proposal development, financial justification, and implementation handoff
  • Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with company growth objectives, prioritizing high-value targets based on data, market trends, and referral networks
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Pharmacy Directors, Compliance Officers) in complex provider organizations
  • Translate regulatory complexity, staffing challenges, and revenue pressure into compelling ROI-driven conversations
  • Engage stakeholders across finance, operations, compliance, and pharmacy to build consensus and business cases (internally and externally)
  • Guide prospects and customers through ambiguous buying cycles by distilling complexity into clear financial and operational impact
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and continuously improve win rates
  • Represent NuvemRx at industry events, conferences, and client engagements — becoming a trusted voice in the space
  • Serve as a thought partner to prospects and customers, often educating them on emerging best practices, regulatory implications, and workflow transformation
  • Partner with Customer Success and Operations teams to identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing clients
  • Collaborate closely with Implementation, Operations, Compliance, Marketing and Product teams to ensure client needs are met, provide insights on competitive intelligence for roadmap and messaging alignment, and feedback loops inform future offerings
