Description

 Job Overview:  


As a Yardi Support Specialist, you will provide support for Yardi Voyager 8/CRM IQ and the related suite of products, and other property management applications for the accounting and operations teams. Your responsibilities will include managing property management related support requests, analyze support data, and advising on ways to enhance efficiency and optimize the use of the software. Additionally, you will recommend training opportunities and new system functionalities as they become available.  


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as Tier-1/Tier-2 support for Yardi Voyager 8/CRM IQ where you will receive, triage and complete requests within the established Service Level Agreements (SLA) 

Specific support activities include: 

  • General Voyager 8/CRM IQ Roles, Menus & Dashboards: An understanding of how to navigate the roles & menus to search residents/prospects and access software functions. 
  • User Provisioning/Management: Familiarity with YardiOne & Voyager user administration 
  • CRM IQ/Voyager 8 Leasing Workflow: Knowledge of the Lead to Lease process including application workflow, ID Verify, rental terms, rentable items, lease charges & lease execution processes. 
  • CRM IQ/Voyager 8 Lease Generation: Troubleshooting issues with the lease agreement 
  • Resident Account & Ledger: Knowledge on how navigate the resident record and how to reconcile resident accounting ledgers (Reverse Charges & Reapply Receipt functions) 
  • Lease Renewal Proposal & Execution: Knowledge on Lease Renewal process including troubleshooting occupants, rent and other issues. 
  • Evaluate support requests to identify opportunities for clients to leverage technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and optimize technology platform. 
  • Escalate tickets to Director, Yardi Systems, and to our Yardi support representative via Yardi Client Central 
  • Prepare SOP documentation to support system administrative functions, procedures, and processes. 
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrate system features and ensure training meets or exceeds client expectations. 
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with both internal teams and software vendors. 
  • Some travel may be required. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. 
  • This role does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.

In addition to these general attributes, the successful Yardi Support Specialist should possess the following qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of experience with Yardi Systems software. (Voyager 8 / CRM IQ, Residential, RentCafe, CRM, Maintenance, Core financial) 
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles 
  • Proven ability to teach processes and procedures effectively. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 is preferred. 
  • A bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
