Fully Remote
Description

PCG Consulting International, a certified MBE partner to Deloitte, is seeking an experienced IES Integration Engineer to join our team!!

The IES Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API-based and microservices-driven integrations that connect the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) with federal, state, and external partner systems. This role ensures the secure, scalable, and reliable exchange of data that underpins eligibility determinations and benefit delivery for programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations supporting data exchange across IES and external systems (e.g., SSA, CMS, IRS, FNS).
  • Implement secure, standards-based interfaces using OAuth, SAML, or mutual TLS for authentication and authorization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and support integrations within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or hybrid).
  • Ensure integration performance, resilience, and scalability, including error handling, retries, and failover management.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks for proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects and data governance teams to align integration design with security and compliance standards (HIPAA, NIST, IRS Pub 1075).
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to enable automated testing, deployment, and version control of integration components.

As an IES Integration Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, secure communication between eligibility systems and critical federal and state data sources. Your work directly supports the delivery of health and human services benefits — modernizing infrastructure, strengthening interoperability, and improving the experience for millions of citizens.
