Beginner’s Edge Sports Training (B.E.S.T.) is seeking energetic and reliable After School Sports Instructors to lead beginner-level basketball, football, and volleyball sessions for elementary-aged children. Instructors will follow a structured curriculum provided by B.E.S.T. and create a positive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment at school sites across the East Valley area..
Key Responsibilities
• Lead beginner-level classes in basketball, football, and volleyball during after school hours (approx. 2 hour shifts) • Arrive 30 minutes prior to each class for setup and preparation (paid time) • Maintain strong class and group management to ensure safety, engagement, and smooth transitions • Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all participants • Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff, parents, and students • Represent B.E.S.T. with professionalism, enthusiasm, and dependability

• Strong classroom and group management skills • Effective communication and confident leadership • Ability to engage, motivate, and instruct children in an active setting • Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude • Comfort working across multiple sports using the B.E.S.T. curriculum
Physical Requirements
• Ability to run, demonstrate drills, and actively participate in sports activities • Ability to stand and move for extended periods during class • Ability to lift, carry, and set up equipment up to 40 pounds
Work Environment
• Classes may take place indoors or outdoors depending on school facilities and season • Depending on scheduling, instructors may teach at multiple school sites in a week

Requirements
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned school locations
- Must obtain or be willing to obtain a Level One Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to hire date
- Experience working with children in sports, recreation, education, or youth programs preferred
- Availability in the afternoons for start times ranging 12pm - 4pm
