About the Role
Esaote North America is seeking a highly skilled MRI Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of site preparation projects for MRI system installations. This role owns the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of all pre-installation activities, ensuring each site is fully prepared for seamless system deployment.


The MRI Project Manager serves as a critical technical and operational partner, providing expert guidance to customers, architects, contractors, and field service engineers through remote support and on-site engagement. You will act as the central point of coordination, aligning timelines, resolving challenges, and maintaining project momentum from kickoff through installation readiness.


This position demands strong technical acumen, exceptional organizational discipline, and the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders in complex, fast-moving environments where precision and timelines are critical.

This role is based at our Fishers, IN corporate office, with a preference for local candidates.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management (45%)

·  Serve as the primary contact for MRI site preparation with customers, contractors, architects, sales representatives, and field service engineers.

  • Conduct project kick-off meetings, review orders, create floor plans in AutoCAD, timelines, site readiness, and go-live schedules.
  • Lead weekly project calls, document meeting notes, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Review and provide site planning documents; perform site evaluations and testing to ensure compliance with installation standards.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including Site Test Data Reports, Final Drawing Sets in AutoCAD, Installation Memos, Gantt Charts, and contact lists.
  • Coordinate with rigging vendors to obtain and evaluate quotes.

Process Improvement (25%)

  • Maintain and update standardized project templates and documentation (kick-off presentations, pre-installation packages, checklists, etc.).
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements to streamline project execution.

Training & Development (10%)

  • Participate in professional development, including AutoCAD optimization, project management training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Pursue PMP certification or equivalent as assigned.

On-Site Support & Miscellaneous (10%)

  • Provide oversight during MRI system installations as needed.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair site test kits.
  • Support special projects requiring domestic and international travel.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement (5%)

  • Troubleshoot issues related to site data, order discrepancies, or construction challenges.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce project risks.

Reporting & Documentation (5%)

  • Ensure all project documentation meets regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible project files for audits.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Combination of office and construction site environments, moderate noise.
  • Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel (45–65%).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, navigate uneven surfaces, and use office and light construction tools.
  • Exert up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantly.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements 


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • PMP Certification preferred or equivalent project management experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience, ideally in medical devices, healthcare, or technical installations.
  • MRI or other imaging equipment installation experience strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to hand-sketch layouts and measure site dimensions accurately.
  • Familiarity with construction environments, site planning, and regulatory standards.
