JOB TITLE: Vice President, Product Management
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role the Vice President, Product Management will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, program management, customer success, marketing and subject matter experts. We are looking for entrepreneurial Product Managers who value moving quickly, and who can lead discovery, design, and delivery of strategic product initiatives across the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess industry knowledge to continuously assess product fit, competitive landscape, and market demand.
- Gather market and customer requirements and interface with the development organization to ensure customer deliverables are effectively implemented
- Utilize problem-solving and a data-driven approach to decision-making, and deliver products with strong adoption rates
- Ideate and plan for new product releases or product launches
- Align with product development, sales, marketing, and operations to achieve business goals
- Communicate with all stakeholders on resource allocation, prioritization, and success metrics
- Work with cross functional team to execute on commercialization planning
- Seek to hear the voice of the customer and monitor customer satisfaction
- Manage roadmaps, budgets, forecasts, and product level P&Ls
- Lead and mentor a matrix team within the product and solutions portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- Bachelor's degree and or equivalent, postgraduate degree preferred
- Healthcare expertise within the provider, payer, specialty, or pharma HUB markets
- Background in product management within healthcare-specific software/service firms, or leadership roles in the healthcare verticals of top consulting firms
- Strategic vision and creative problem solving, using data and insights
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, driving results without direct authority and developing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Proven track record of taking initiative and a "can-do" attitude
