JOB SUMMARY:  


The Quality Assurance Analyst works independently, meticulously authenticating and editing content to ensure accuracy, consistency with style guidelines, and adherence to quality standards. They identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, and formatting. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for expertly analyzing and verifying technical and factual information, while collaborating effectively with content creators to maintain high-quality output across various platforms with minimal supervision. 


The Quality Assurance Analyst works autonomously across many divisions and will focus on Quality in Marketing and Thought Leadership Materials, Client Presentations and Proposals, Medical Record Reviews/Summaries, Reports and Memos, Graphics/Illustrations and more. They drive business results by refining client proposals and deliverables to not only meet the highest quality standards but enhancing these deliverables to include brand awareness and expanding the presentation of our portfolio of services.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Research and analyze the accuracy of information presented in content; audit by cross-referencing with reliable sources and interpreting and enhancing the content
  • Critically evaluate content and provide constructive feedback to content creators to improve the overall quality of content
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and competent judgement by assessing technical correctness in subject-specific content, including concepts, terminology, and data
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on final drafts before publication or distribution; Use discretion on readiness for publication and push back content until it meets acceptable standards
  • Advance the development, evolution, and continual improvement of quality assurance standards and processes 
  • Independently examine written content for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and inconsistencies in style, tone, and brand
  • Demonstrate specialized acumen in style and brand guidelines by ensuring all content aligns with established criteria
  • Review layout and formatting to ensure consistency across documents
  • Document, report, and resolve any quality issues identified during the review process

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Expert proficiency in grammar and punctuation
  • Expert knowledge of style guides and editing conventions
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines with little supervision
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and to practice strong organizational skills when faced with multiple, time-sensitive projects
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum of three years of business experience in an environment with self-governance to meet deadlines and meet quality expectations, preferably within a professional services firm or legal entity
  • Expert level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Experience formatting Microsoft Word using style templates
  • Experience working effectively with a diverse range of people who possess a variety of skills, experience, and personalities
  • Experience writing/editing proposals within the legal industry, preferred
  • Experienced working with HIPAA protocols and compliance 
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and editing tools 

LOCATION: 

  • This position is 100% remote and supports east to west coast time zones.
