What You Will Be Doing
As the Director of Sales, Exteriors, Roofing and Service, you will lead Renu’s ERS team with business development and will oversee all revenue-generating initiatives across this channel. You will guide the ERS sales team in building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding Renu’s market presence, and ensuring consistent and profitable growth.
This role requires strategic leadership, hands-on management, and the ability to develop and execute a scalable sales plan that aligns with Renu’s goals. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive performance, develop team members, and strengthen Renu’s position as a leader in multifamily renovation, commercial construction, and restoration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides overall leadership, direction, and accountability for Renu’s ERS sales and business development team.
- Leads, mentors, and motivates team members to achieve individual and annual revenue targets.
- Manages sales reporting tools, including monthly sales sheets and pipeline tracking, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Reviews and approves ERS outgoing bids and proposals.
- Conducts weekly sales meetings to discuss goals, pipeline progress, strategy, and team performance.
- Establishes clear sales goals for individuals and the team as a whole.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and continued partnership.
- Actively pursues new client opportunities to expand Renu’s footprint across the multifamily and commercial markets.
- Represents Renu at industry associations, events, and networking functions—including multifamily housing associations and trade groups.
- Collaborates with internal teams, including estimating, operations, and leadership, to support seamless project transitions from bid to execution.
- Ensures sales strategies align with Renu’s operational capabilities, brand standards, and long-term growth objectives.
- Identifies and resolves sales-related challenges to maintain consistent growth and team alignment.
- Performs additional duties as required to support Renu’s business development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, construction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of construction business development experience, preferably within multifamily renovation and service-based environments.
- Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to develop and motivate high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, trends, and performance metrics.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities across multiple clients and opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve complex business challenges independently and collaboratively.
- Self-starter, embrace ambiguity, and bring their own uncompromising standards of excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams.
