The ER Technician, under the supervision of the ED Director, Nursing Manager and RN, is responsible for preparing supplies and equipment for interventions, using appropriate and competent techniques. Assist with procedures and provides technical services as assigned or directed within the scope of practice of their license or certification. Assist with data collection and documentation of patient monitoring. Maintain LCMC’s customer service standards. 

This is a Per Diem position.

Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA/LNA) or an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program

Experience: Minimum of 6 months direct patient care experience (pre-hospital or hospital); emergency room experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Moderate computer skills with the ability to utilize an EMR

Licenses: Active, current EMT or LNA/CNA license or certification

Certifications:  BLS required
