We are expanding our account management team and looking for an Enterprise Account Manager. We are seeking candidates with a  passion for working with existing clients to expand the value$ they get from using economic analytics software to drive better organizational outcomes. Economic Impact Analysis supports a wide variety of use cases that can add value to private and public sector organizations. 

Historically, IMPLAN has sold into a specific person or team for a particular use case. We have already broadened our customer base to include large multinational corporations, as well as federal and state governments. This role represents the opportunity to grow a new function inside of IMPLAN alongside the Director of Enterprise Accounts. The role will work with a named account list to leverage our current champions to better penetrate IMPLAN throughout the client’s organization and drive expansion revenue.

Requirements

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with the primary buyer(s) and user(s).
  • Identify other teams, business units, etc. for expansion revenue opportunities.
  • Expand use cases with both current users and other users within the organization.
  • Nurture executive level relationships inside clients to ensure the value of IMPLAN is known throughout leadership.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure alignment and continued high customer satisfaction.
  • Understand the various use cases of IMPLAN and be able to demonstrate value using the application and underlying data.
  • Experience in software sales and account management, specifically around expansion revenue.
  • Experience navigating large, complex, and multinational organizations.
  • Strong skills in logic and problem solving, conceptual thinking, and deductive reasoning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and presence to work with everyone from CxO to individual contributors.
  • Comfort and familiarity with a team-based work environment.
  • Ability to self-direct and prioritize with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and be challenged.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and CRM systems like Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Fluency in English.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Economic Development, Planning, Public Policy, Urban Studies, or a closely related field.

IMPLAN is a remote workplace. This role requires travel to our Huntersville, NC office or other locations for team meetings and client visits.

Salary Description
$85,000-$140,000
