Description
Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician plays a key role in delivering exceptional onsite service and support for Isensix monitoring systems. This position involves implementation of systems to reduce errors, improve tracking, and automate the monitoring of the environmental data for the healthcare systems. This position will also be based remotely, but will have frequent travel to client locations, sometimes trips that can span up to one week. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-driven, and excited about representing Isensix directly with our customers.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Install, configure, and test Isensix monitoring equipment at customer facilities.
- Perform onsite and remote maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Provide customer training on system operation, best practices, and troubleshooting basics.
- Document service activities, including reports, logs, parts usage, and recommendations.
- Maintain strong communication with the Service team, Project Manager, and customers.
- Adhere to company standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Serve as a professional, confident representative of Isensix during customer interactions.
Requirements
Essential/Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in field service, electronics, or in a laboratory environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
- Ability to diagnose system issues using technical documentation and tools.
- General knowledge of GLPs.
- Comfort working independently with minimal onsite supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel for up to one week or 75% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Salary Description
65 to 70k/yr
