Coastal Mechanical, a Rogers Building Solutions Business Unit, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Administrative Assistant our Mission Critical Team. In this role, you’ll support complex construction projects, ensure smooth project accounting operations, and provide key support to project managers—all while contributing to projects that keep critical facilities running.
• 1+ year of recent construction accounting with AIA and Lien waiver experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, proactive, attention to detail, and clear communication skills
• Team player with a “can do” attitude towards customer service
• Strong and concise data entry skills, invoice processing, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do: (List is not inclusive)
• Maintain and update vendor documentation and compliance records
• Support project accounting, billing, and reporting needs
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and PO change orders
• Assist with invoice review and processing
• Collect subcontractor lien waivers and assist with billings
• Provide backup support to project managers as needed
Utilization of Computer Applications including:
• Viewpoint or other Accounting ERP experience
• Blue Beam/ Adobe
• MS Office suite, with above basic knowledge in Excel
• Outlook
Essential Functions:
• Ability to Read, Speak, comprehend, and write in English
• Bending, Stooping, lifting up to 20lbs
• Able to ambulate through the building to interact with other departments
• Dexterity for office equipment and computers
