JOB TITLE: Regional Career Services Manager  
STATUS: Full-Time
TYPE: Remote
REPORTS TO: Corporate Director of Campus Operations 

 

PURPOSE 

The Regional Career Services Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Career Services departments across multiple Smith Chason College campuses. This role ensures consistent performance, compliance, and quality outcomes in graduate employment, employer relations, and student career development. The Regional Manager drives institutional success by implementing best practices, coaching local Career Services teams, and aligning regional initiatives with college-wide objectives. 

This leader acts as a strategic partner to campus leadership and the executive team—bridging student outcomes, employer engagement, and accreditation standards into measurable success. 


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Develop and execute regional Career Services strategy to achieve annual placement, compliance, and employer engagement goals. 
  • Partner with the Campus Directors to ensure alignment with institutional objectives. 
  • Analyze placement data and trends across campuses; identify gaps and implement corrective actions. 
  • Standardize processes and reporting systems to ensure consistency and accuracy across all campuses. 

Team Management 

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate campus Career Services Advisors to ensure achievement of regional KPIs. 
  • Facilitate professional development, training programs, and ongoing performance feedback for all Career Services personnel. 
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing team members. 
  • Create a culture of accountability and collaboration across campuses. 

Employer Engagement 

  • Develop and maintain regional employer partnerships that result in sustainable job opportunities for graduates. 
  • Oversee campus-level employer relationship strategies to maximize job placement opportunities. 
  • Represent Smith Chason College at major hiring events, community partnerships, and industry associations. 

Compliance & Reporting 

  • Ensure regional compliance with accrediting and state agency employment regulations. 
  • Oversee timely and accurate completion of placement verification, reporting, and audits. 
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain accurate, auditable data. 

Student & Graduate Outcomes 

  • Ensure that every student and graduate across campuses has equitable access to career coaching, job search support, and professional resources. 
  • Oversee the development of regional workshops, career fairs, and professional development programming. 
  • Partner with academic and student services teams to enhance career readiness throughout the student lifecycle. 

Cross-Departmental Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Education, Admissions, and Student Services teams to align student experience with career outcomes. 
  • Provide insight and feedback on curriculum alignment with current labor market demands. 
  • Serve as the regional voice for Career Services during leadership meetings and institutional planning sessions. 
Requirements

 EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; or 
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Career Services, Workforce Development, Higher Education, or related field. 
  • Proven track record in multi-campus leadership, strategic planning, and staff development. 
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to interpret performance metrics and drive results. 
  • Deep understanding of state and accreditor employment compliance standards. 
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities. 
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational demands. 
  • Must be self-directed, results-oriented, and able to hold teams accountable. 
  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills—both written and verbal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • Must be able to travel between assigned campuses regularly. 
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. 
  • Must possess sufficient hearing and speaking ability to communicate professionally in meetings and presentations. 
  • Work may include evenings or weekends to attend college or employer events. 

 

Salary Description
$85,000.00 to $105,000.00 Salary
