LVNs at LGTC Group: LGTC offers our clients many options for high-quality, evidence-based, comprehensive, and compassionate mental health treatment. LVNs play a crucial role in providing excellent nursing care in several key departments. We are looking to hire a passionate and talented LVN who is open to working in multiple departments/clinics. Our LVNs collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and help create a safe environment that promotes healing and comfort for all clients.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00AM – 5:30PM or 10:30AM – 7PM
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, obtain vital signs, and implement treatments as prescribed by our licensed medical providers.
- Monitor and document clients’ vital signs and health status.
- Provide administrative support to coordinate care between patients’ families, outside medical providers, and the LGTC treatment team.
- Provide emotional support and relevant medical/psychoeducation to clients and their families within the LVN scope.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Travel between multiple clinic sites(South Bay, Peninsula) (mileage reimbursed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of care settings, including outpatient clinics, day programs, and residential programs.
- Knowledge of mental health nursing practices. Knowledge or experience with eating disorders is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, or other languages.
- Experience working with clients throughout the lifespan.
Requirements:
- Valid, active LVN license
- 2-4 years' experience, preferably in the mental health field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and with changing priorities.
- Reliable transportation to travel between sites (mileage reimbursed).
- Able to commit to a set schedule for a minimum of six months.
