We are seeking a proactive and forward-thinking AI Solutions Specialist to accelerate our transition toward an intelligent, modular localization ecosystem.
This role bridges AI enablement and technical automation; helping teams embrace AI tools while designing smarter workflows across our connected tech stack (Phrase, Blackbird and beyond).
You’ll work closely with the existing Technology team to build efficient, scalable processes that remove manual effort, connect systems, and enable smart decision-making across projects. If you thrive on solving real business problems with AI and automation, this is the role for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
AI Enablement
- Lead AI onboarding across departments (Project Management, Sales, Finance, Technology, Management).
- Train and mentor employees in prompt engineering, helping them use tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and other AI assistants effectively.
- Develop interactive training materials, demos, and tutorials to show practical applications of AI in daily workflows.
- Build and maintain an internal AI knowledge base (examples, guides, best practices).
- Champion internal AI adoption by identifying high-impact use cases and measuring outcomes.
- Advise teams on responsible AI usage and stay up to date on emerging technologies and ethical considerations.
Workflow Automation & System Integration
- Design and implement automated decision-making workflows using platforms such as Blackbird, Phrase Orchestrator (or n8n).
- Build smart routing systems (automatically directing specific project types from specific clients to tailored workflows).
- Connect and synchronize data across third-party systems (Phrase, QuickBooks, HubSpot, SharePoint, etc.) for seamless operations.
- Write and maintain Python scripts or API integrations to extend capabilities beyond no-code platforms.
- Partner with the Localization Technology Manager to modernize our tech ecosystem as we move towards a modular business management model.
- Continuously evaluate automation tools and propose improvements for scalability and maintainability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Client Services teams to effectively showcase our AI and automation capabilities to external stakeholders, including actively participating in client calls and demonstrating strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Support client meetings where AI or workflow automation is part of the discussion.
- Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to align automation projects with business goals.
Experience
Must have:
- Proven interest or hands-on experience with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
- Experience building automations in no-code or low-code environments (Make, n8n, Zapier, Power Automate, etc.).
- Strong communication and teaching skills (confident leading workshops or training sessions).
- Ability to evaluate SaaS platforms and compare features critically.
- Familiarity with basic Python scripting for task automation or API work.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in localization, translation, or tech-focused Language Service Providers (LSPs).
- Experience creating internal training materials (videos, slides, documents).
- Understanding of our core tech stack (Plunet, Phrase TMS)
- Familiarity with our auxiliary tech stack (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, memoQ, Blackbird, SharePoint)
