The Regional Sales Director-Floor Care is responsible for achieving the annual revenue plan within the floor care product categories assigned. This role aligns with the overall corporate strategy of market penetration, focusing on Betco and Basic Coating branded, as well as private-label floor care categories, primarily through the Jan/San channel, Contractors and National Accounts. The position also involves driving end-customer demand. Duties of this position include ensuring revenue growth for the current Floor Care product line via sales engagement, training, brand positioning and product awareness, sales support, and other sales related activities.
This position requires a self-starter who can drive revenue growth in the Floor Care category. Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects, remain organized, prioritize according to organizational needs, as well as think critically and develop solutions that will create success. Must also be able to collaborate effectively with multiple departments, including Field Sales, Corporate Accounts, National Accounts and Business Development. Sales experience, specifically in commercial floor care, is required.

- Development of sales strategies to drive both short-term and long-term sales within the Floor Care category. Work with Product Management to identify opportunities for products and programs that have features, benefits, &/or attributes that meet the market need in the Floor Care category.
- Assist in the training of the sales organization, distribution customers, and end users via training at Betco HQ, in the field, or digitally via webinars and e-Learning content.
- Drive end-customer sales to expand account penetration in the assigned floor care categories.
- Review sales penetration across assigned product categories and develop a sales plan to meet growth objectives.
- Achieve annual sales targets.
- Support direct, corporate and national account requests within the assigned geography.
- Manage travel and entertainment (T&E) expenses.
- Ensure high-quality and high-quantity end-user engagement within the region, leveraging CRM for tracking sales activity, customer calls, feedback, and competitive insights.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed by the VP of Field Sales and Training, Senior Director of Field Sales and Training or EVP of Sales.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on sales.
- 5-7 years of prior experience in commercial floor care sales is preferred
- Demonstrated strength in working closely with sales and other cross functional personnel.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience using iPhones and laptops for business applications.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Strong technical and application skills for floor coatings products.
- Strong presentation skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
