Description


As a Client Executive you will drive sales for their territory and individually assigned accounts for our Local Government Business focusing on Integrated Tax Systems (ITS), Analytics and Audit solutions. As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for evaluating, building and managing State and/or Local Government sales for your territory and individually assigned accounts, including developing sales and marketing strategies, planning, collaborating with Marketing for demand generation, supporting product demonstrations and managing RFI and RFP responses.  


Up to 50% travel is required for this role. 


Job Responsibilities/Duties:  

  • Focus on developing new Local Government customers.   
  • Attend and actively participate in conferences and events.    
  • Partner with Marketing to develop effective demand generation strategies.    
  • Create, engage, participate and support the needs of Business Development and the capture and close of Local and State opportunities.  
  • Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships   
  • Execute marketing plans to develop local referenceable clients and increase brand awareness.   
  • Partner with our demo and RFP teams to develop winning proposals and bids.   
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation    
  • Develop business plans to build Pipeline  
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills   
  • Quota Attainment  
  • Actively track and manage opportunities within your territory and the current CRM tool.  
  • Own and deliver on solution and opportunity of assigned tasks related to the engagement of potential business.  
Requirements


  • 5+ years sales experience in the local government space   
  • Experienced with speaking at conferences and providing software demonstrations  

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $100,000 - 130,000 plus incentives.
