Job Summary
The Integrations Engineer will design, develop, and maintain integrations between internal systems, third-party applications, and APIs, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Salesforce. This role ensures seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms to support business operations and enhance system efficiency. This is an exempt position reporting to the VP, Software Development
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central, Salesforce, and 3rd party vendors using eOne SmartConnect.
- Configure and optimize SmartConnect maps for data synchronization and automation.
- Design and implement APIs, web services, and middleware solutions for system interoperability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows for reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data integrity best practices.
- Document integration architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integration patterns to recommend improvements.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in system integration or API development.
- Familiarity with iPaaS integration platforms (e.g., SmartConnect, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Salesforce, and eOne SmartConnect (or similar iPaaS tools - see above).
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON/XML, and data transformation.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Apex, Python, C#, or Java.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP and CRM integration best practices.
- Understanding of ETL processes and middleware tools.
- Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, SAML).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI reporting and dashboards
- Certifications in Business Central, Salesforce, or integration platforms.
- Prior exposure to Github and Jira, along with experience with an Agile delivery model
