Description

Lead and coordinate regulatory compliance activities for the company’s cleaning chemicals, equipment, water-based coatings, and microbial-based technologies. Ensure products meet all applicable federal, state, local, and international requirements. Provide technical guidance and regulatory support to internal teams, customers, and manufacturing partners. Promote product stewardship and maintain robust documentation and reporting practices to support business continuity and growth 

Requirements
  • Oversee the compliance of multiple chemical and biological products for domestic and international markets, including but not limited to EPA Pesticide; FDA OTC drugs and cosmetic; Canadian disinfectant, drug, and cosmetic products; European REACH compliance for chemical cleaning and wastewater products.
  • Supervise and develop a team of regulatory professionals supporting Betco, Basic Coatings, and EnviroZyme product lines; provide coaching and project oversight to ensure timely and accurate regulatory deliverables.
  • Provide regulatory assessments and guidance during new product development to proactively manage compliance risks and identify opportunities.
  • Communicate key regulatory updates to internal and external stakeholders and lead implementation of regulatory changes to ensure compliance. 
  • Monitor, interpret, and provide regulatory guidance for evolving regulatory requirements within key markets. 
  • Oversight and verification of regulatory compliance databases, product labels, and Safety Data Sheets for compliance in domestic and international markets. 
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries concerning compliance documentation, certifications, and technical data.
  • Develop regulatory risk assessments and guidance for new market access requirements. 
  • Participate in governmental and customer driven compliance audits. 
  • Represent the company at industry seminars, conferences, and trade association meetings to stay informed of new trends and regulatory initiatives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

  • 4-9 years of on-the-job regulatory experience in a chemical/product manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science.
  • Knowledge of Law and Regulations is preferred.
