As a Business Operations Lead, you will report to the Vice President of Business Operations and Strategy to build a world class long-term-care (LTC) pharmacy operation. You will have a pivotal role in executing on key strategic and operational initiatives across the company. You will be largely focused on M&A integrations, operational management, and process design and improvement to advance the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will be inspired to roll up their sleeves, is comfortable multi-tasking, and enjoys the challenge of utilizing a broad range of skills in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the VP of Business Operations and Strategy to drive key operational initiatives across the business
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements
  • Execute on company-directed operational initiatives
  • Take part in spearheading continued post-close diligence of M&A targets
  • Provide support to wider sourcing of business development opportunities
  • Lead process improvement, change management, and organizational effectiveness across the company to continue to advance long-term business objectives
  • Gather and utilize data and analytics to make sound business judgements
  • Work cross functionally with operations and finance teams across the business
  • Take on new and diverse challenges with flexibility as they arise
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of pharmacy experience with active technician or pharmacist license
  • Minimum of six years directly owning business, operations, project execution, and/or analytics
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the year based on business needs
  • Positive personality who can work well within a team
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including intermediate to advanced usage of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, index-match or v/xlookup, if/and logic, filters, conditional formatting)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
  • Must be able to stand/be on feet if needed
  • Available for on-site work and collaboration with other leadership
