Summary:

The Greenacres Agroecology Department offers a paid, two-year farming apprenticeship program starting in April 2026 and ending in December 2027. The apprenticeship is an education-focused, working position that blends hands-on field work with some classroom time.

While the Agroecology Department includes a collaborative garden, research, land management, and livestock production, the 2026 apprenticeship class will primarily be a garden apprenticeship. Apprentices will work alongside the Greenacres Farm team to assist in all areas of farm production. Applicants should have a strong interest in regenerative agriculture and a willingness to deepen their skills specifically in horticulture and greenhouse management.

In addition to job duties, apprentices must also be comfortable with public speaking at Greenacres events.

Greenacres does not provide housing for apprentices.
