Description

This is a Corporate Contract Position.  Candidates with experience and knowledge of Asian Countries and Languages preferred.


Primary Goal: Responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified linguists to join GLOBO’s Interpreting Team and the day-to-day operations of our on demand services. This job involves constant linguist communication to ensure they are meeting our client requirements. 


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select candidates for the Independent Contractor roles through active and passive sourcing 
  • Conduct interviews with Independent Contractors 
  • Negotiate competitive rates with Independent Contractors 
  • Maintain positive relationships with Interpreters once on-boarded with GLOBO ? Work closely with Quality Assurance and VRI Teams on new/existing hires and setting them up in GLOBO’s platform 
  • Provide support for active interpreters in the form of 1099 verification letters, address changes, credentials updates, etc. 
  • Communicate with Quality Assurance Team daily on new hires engagement ? Pull reports/data/metrics for the weekly meetings 
  • Working closely with sales, scheduling team and operations to scale the talent pool in sync with business needs 
  • Maintain active presence on social media platforms 
  • Other duties as assigned 



Requirements

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) 
  • At least 3 years direct recruiting experience or working in the language industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite 
  • Experience with Apple/Mac Operating System preferred 

Additional Preferred Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Asian countries and languages
