Description

OPEN MINDS is seeking a strategic, creative, digitally fluent marketing associate to support high-impact marketing, branding, and engagement projects across our health and human services client portfolio. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creative direction, and hands-on execution—someone who understands what modern marketing should look like and can guide clients and internal teams toward it.


The ideal candidate is a strategist, creator, and problem-solver. They can assess a client’s digital footprint, diagnose what’s missing, and translate that into actionable recommendations that drive growth, engagement, and thought leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Campaign Development

  • Evaluate client social and digital presence and translate insights into clear recommendations and growth strategies
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and audience needs
  • Build campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, content calendars, and activation plans that reflect industry trends and platform best practices

Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Develop and oversee social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and thought leadership across platforms
  • Advise clients on content formats, audience behaviors, and emerging trends in digital engagement
  • Monitor analytics and translate performance into continuous optimization strategies

Creative Direction & Content Development

  • Provide creative direction from concept through delivery, collaborating with designers, writers, and subject matter experts
  • Craft high-quality copy for social media, campaigns, landing pages, emails, presentations, and thought leadership assets
  • Adapt voice, tone, and format based on platform, audience, and strategic objectives

Client & Internal Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior consultants, project leads, and client stakeholders
  • Present recommendations, creative concepts, and performance insights in a clear and compelling manner
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables meet OPEN MINDS’ quality standards
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital strategy (agency or healthcare experience preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing social and digital strategies
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging development skills across formats and audiences
  • Strong creative direction abilities with experience guiding content from concept to final design
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable, audience-aligned marketing recommendations
  • High level of organization, adaptability, and professional polish
