What you’ll be doing:
- Own Strategic Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value EDU accounts, building deep partnerships and ensuring long-term retention and growth.
- Drive Account Outcomes: Develop and execute strategic account plans tied to client goals, renewal cycles, and expansion opportunities that align with Vanco’s revenue objectives.
- Lead Value-Driven Conversations: Conduct business reviews, strategic planning meetings, and performance check-ins to demonstrate ROI and maximize customer engagement.
- Monitor and Forecast Account Health: Track account performance, usage trends, and risk indicators using Salesforce, Hubspot, and Looker to ensure proactive decision-making.
- Act as an Escalation Point: Manage complex or high-priority client needs, resolving issues through cross-functional collaboration and timely communication.
- Represent the Voice of the Client: Advocate for EDU customer needs with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to influence product roadmap, enhancements, and solution evolution.
- Maximize Customer Adoption & Value: Reinforce best practices and adoption strategies that improve client outcomes, operational efficiency, and value realization.
- Deepen Product & Industry Expertise: Maintain a high level of knowledge of Vanco solutions and K-12 market dynamics to serve as a trusted partner for district stakeholders.
- Drive Renewals & Expansions: Identify expansion opportunities, mitigate churn risk, and lead renewal conversations with a strategic, data-driven approach.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Implementation, and Client Services to ensure seamless client experience and unified messaging.
- Support Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and insights to improve processes, customer resources, product features, and go-to-market strategy.
- Contribute Beyond the Role: Participate in internal initiatives, strategic projects, and process enhancements that drive Vanco’s customer experience vision forward.

- Trusted Advisor: Serves as a strategic thought partner, helping districts modernize payments, streamline operations, and enhance parent and staff engagement using Vanco’s suite of EDU products.
- Process-Oriented Operator: Maintains rigor in account planning, QBRs, renewal forecasting, and documentation, ensuring every client interaction is purposeful and data-informed.

The annual starting base pay for this position typically starts between $75,000-85,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, location, and equity with internal team members. Total compensation for this position includes quarterly commissions.
