We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team. As part of our Sales Team you’ll help clients setup or convert their 401(k) plans, build and maintain strong advisor relationships, prepare proposals and service agreements and ensure everything is in line for New Business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough understanding of Employee Fiduciary’s company values and strengths.
- Understanding of competitor strengths and weaknesses and documents competitor research gathered via prospect correspondence.
- Respond promptly to advisor and plan sponsor inquiries.
- Develop and manage advisor relationships.
- Equip and educate plan sponsors and advisors on plan options including the process of setting up a plan (e.g., Safe Harbor, Contribution Processing, Investment Options etc.).
- Prepare proposals and service agreements.
- Communicate high-level plan design concepts to advisors and plan sponsors.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Maintain CRM (HubSpot) and appropriately segment contacts and companies.
- Follow documented sales processes follow-up in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Thorough understanding of the Employee Fiduciary installation and maintenance processes for all plans.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- General knowledge of mutual fund asset classes, expense ratios, and qualified plans – in particular 401(k) plans.
- Completion of ASPPA RPF1 & RPF2 exams within one year of hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, in a high-volume environment.
- High-level understanding of ERISA and IRS regulations and rulings for defined contribution plans.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Undergraduate degree and at least two years of sales experience preferred. Must have a general understanding of mutual fund asset classes and expense ratios.
