We are looking for a meticulous and organized nurse ready to make a difference. In this role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent documentation, train team members on best practices, and participate in data collection for internal and external audits. You'll handle document requests from MACs, OIG, and other oversight agencies, and assist in writing clinical summaries.
Job Responsibilities:?
- Conduct assigned audits by researching documentation, analyzing information, and making recommendations to enhance compliance within clinical charts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in documentation practices, utilizing available tools for documentation review.
- Develop proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Train employees on efficient documentation practices, including usage of the EMR.
- Provide constructive feedback to managers regarding the documentation strengths and deficiencies of employees.
- Work with managers to develop corrective action plans addressing documentation deficiencies.
- Participate in the review of policies and procedures as requested.
- Assist with both internal and external audits.
- Educate employees, both in-office and virtually, on efficient documentation practices as directed.
- This role will also contribute to policy and procedure reviews, work closely with an interdisciplinary team, and help us achieve our goals.
- Accurately upload and transmit HOPE via iQIES in a timely manner
- Accurately and timely upload and transmission CAHPs data
- Assist with: QAPI initiatives, participate in PIP teams, survey corrective action planning, and/or implementation of corrective action plans.
This role will also contribute to policy and procedure reviews, work closely with an interdisciplinary team, and help us achieve our goals. COMPENSATION:
This role provides a competitive base salary. Our starting range is between $70,000 to $75,000 annually.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
- Current RN or LPN nursing license without encumbrance within state currently working in
- 3 years of experience as an RN case manager or skilled nurse in hospice services, highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping with a strong understanding of documentation standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including MAC, OIG, and other oversight agencies’ requirements.
