Location: San Antonio – Corporate Office (In Person Role)

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 annually 


Job Summary:
 

The Data Analyst at EBH plays a key role in helping the organization use data to make informed, meaningful decisions. This position supports data collection, reporting, and analysis efforts across departments to improve efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to transforming data into actionable insights that support EBH’s mission and growth.

In this role, you will maintain and improve dashboards and reports, ensure data accuracy, and analyze trends to identify opportunities for process improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in SQL, Tableau, and data management while contributing to real-world business outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor Data Quality and Integrity: Review datasets regularly to identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information; coordinate and implement necessary corrections.
  • Perform QA/QC (Quality Assurance and Control): Validate data sources, verify ETL processes, and test dashboards or reports for accuracy before publication.
  • Build and Modify Tableau Dashboards: Create and maintain visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics, trends, and insights.
  • Write and Edit SQL Queries: Extract, clean, and aggregate data from multiple sources; optimize queries for performance and accuracy.
  • Provide In-Depth Analysis on KPIs: Interpret trends, identify performance drivers, and deliver actionable insights to support business goals.
  • Provide Solutions and Apply Critical Thinking: Analyze underlying data patterns, identify process or performance improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven strategies.
  • Support Cross-Department Reporting Needs: Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, HR, and more) to deliver tailored data insights and recurring reports.
  • Document Data Processes and Definitions: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, transformations, and metric definitions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Track and Maintain Data Dashboards: Monitor scheduled dashboard refreshes, ensure data pipelines are functioning, and update filters or parameters as needed.
  • Communicate Findings and Recommendations: Present analyses in clear, actionable formats—through dashboards, written reports, or presentations—to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data documentation, reporting, or data integrity checks is a plus.

 Preferred:

  • Internship or academic project experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Exposure to ETL processes or database management systems.
