Job Overview:
The Process Improvement Coordinator – Logistics supports our Transportation, Fulfillment, and Warehouse teams by identifying operational inefficiencies, improving workflows, and enhancing data accuracy across our logistics processes. This role blends hands-on operational support with analytical problem-solving, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and internal systems to streamline how products move through our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement & Operational Support
- Identify inefficiencies within transportation, fulfillment, and logistics workflows; assist in developing solutions that reduce errors, improve speed, and enhance accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting current-state processes, mapping workflows, and recommending improvements.
- Partner with Transportation, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to streamline shipping, receiving, routing, and carrier processes.
- Assist with root-cause analysis on recurring operational issues and help implement corrective actions.
2. Data & Reporting
- Produce and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for the logistics and transportation teams using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Analyze daily/weekly shipping data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Manage data quality by ensuring accuracy in systems such as NetSuite, carrier portals, and internal logistics databases.
3. Systems & Tools
- Assist with optimizing system usage across logistics platforms, including NetSuite, shipping software, scanner tools, and routing systems.
- Troubleshoot basic system issues related to logistics workflows and collaborate with IT or vendors when needed.
- Help maintain documentation for processes, SOPs, data definitions, and reporting standards.4
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Customer Support, and Transportation teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Support special projects related to freight cost reduction, carrier performance, fulfillment efficiency, or throughput improvements.
- Partner with managers to track progress of process initiatives and communicate changes to stakeholders.
5. General Support
- Assist with ad hoc analyses and tasks related to logistics operations, freight costs, inbound/outbound scheduling, and transportation performance.
- Participate in team meetings, improvement workshops, and planning discussions to support Ledge 2.0 operational goals.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fulfillment, or a related supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred.
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and databases; ERP experience (NetSuite a plus).
- Ability to document processes, identify gaps, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.
