About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving the growth of The Masters Lawn and Pest by generating new business throughout the Jacksonville-to-Palm Coast region. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales revenue, maintaining a high closing ratio, and cultivating qualified leads. Your role involves leveraging company-generated leads while also proactively seeking new opportunities through referrals, targeted outreach, networking, and existing client relationships.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customized, solution-based proposals that align with each client’s specific requirements and project goals.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by maintaining consistent communication and providing attentive follow-up throughout the sales process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance during weekly Sales/Marketing L10 Meetings, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Maintain a strong closing ratio through effective lead qualification, clear communication of value, and high-quality proposal presentations.
  • Respond promptly to company-generated leads and track all related activities within Aspire.
  • Proactively identify and engage high-value prospects and “Most Wanted” clients through targeted outreach efforts.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to identify additional needs, create upsell opportunities, and enhance overall client satisfaction.
  • Provide clear, timely communication to manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure client confidence throughout the sales cycle.
  • Conduct post-sale follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and ensure successful project or service initiation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in Aspire, including leads, proposals, interactions, and sales activities.
  • Anticipate potential client needs and proactively address issues before they escalate.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments, including coordinators and production teams, to ensure seamless project handoffs and superior service delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of lawn installation, irrigation, maintenance, and pest control.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-solving and client issue resolution.
  • Skilled in preparing and presenting sales proposals; track record of meeting sales goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM/operations software.
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and conducting site visits.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.


Minimum Required Experience and Education

  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial account management or sales, ideally in landscaping, pest control, or irrigation.
  • At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience
  • Proficient with technology, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
  • Associates degree in Business Administration preferred
