We are looking for a Supervisor of IT & Business Systems to join our Southern Home Services IT Team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations including hardware, software, performance of organizational systems, and security. This role will serve as a key liaison with our IT vendors ensuring the organization’s business systems and network are optimized and secure. Additionally, the IT & Business Systems Supervisor coordinates technology projects and servers as an escalation point for complex issues.  


This person will be a hands-on, customer-focused professional with problem-solving, strong critical thinking, and technical skills that will work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Systems Management: Monitor,      maintain, develop, and support all IT systems to ensure high reliability      and availability.
  • Hardware      Oversight: Works with networking partners to ensure that all hardware      systems (servers, networks, security systems, IoT devices, etc.) function      optimally and are integrated with software solutions.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and      maintain beneficial vendor relationships and service agreements, ensuring      all licenses are current and maintaining an inventory of licenses.
  • Policy & Procedure      Development: Support & enhance IT policies, procedures, and develop      technical documentation to support daily operations and growth.
  • End-User Support: Support      end-user computer systems and mobile devices, including hardware/software      installation, upgrades, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:      Provide high-level troubleshooting and support for system issues,      including after-hours on-call support when necessary.

· Support network infrastructure, Wi-Fi systems, and server operations.

· Manage employee access to various software platforms and systems. Ensure proper security protocols are followed to protect company data and systems. 

  • Ensure all IT systems can      support company expansion, from network management to employee onboarding.
  • IT Security Management: Support      IT security, including cybersecurity, Active Directory, physical security      of infrastructure, and management of third-party software tools such as      firewalls, antivirus, and email threat protection.

Required Experience


· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 3–5 years of IT support experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

· Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, Active Directory, Office 365, and common enterprise applications.

· Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, backup systems, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to prioritize and organize work with a strong attention to detail.

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Working Conditions

  • On-site position based in Maitland, FL.
  • May require occasional after-hours and weekend support during system maintenance or emergencies.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. for hardware and equipment installations.
